The claim: West of Augusta - No information at this time.
What it really is: It's home of the United States Army Signal Corps, a critical part of military intelligence.
Considering the fact that whomever made this claim didn't even know this about the base, nor do they make any actual claims about the base (including saying they have no information about the place) this leads me to believe that this place was just picked out of random.
It likely ended up on the list because during WWII, Camp Gordon (as it was then known), housed German and Italian POWs. It was also once the location of a US military prison.
