Seneca Army Depot, New York

The claim: Romulus, ?

What it really is: Seneca Army Depot was closed in 2000, and is now under control by numerous private industries, and as for the state the site hosts the Five Points Correctional Facility and the Seneca County Law Enforcement Center.

Currently there is much discussion on what to do with the rest of the land, being that much of it is dotted with concrete storage bunkers that were used to store munitions.

Buffalo, New York

The claim: FEMA detention facility.

What it really is: Besides being the second largest city in the State of New York, it's also a major port for the Great Lakes, and also contains multiple railway lines going into the city. There are many warehouses there, and any one of them could be mistaken for a FEMA camp or detention facility to anyone who thinks that such places are real.

Otisville, New York

The claim: Federal correctional facility, near Middletown.

This is true: This is true. There is a Federal correctional facility called the Federal Correctional Institution, Otisville. It's a medium security prison, with a minimum security prison camp. The prison holds 1,775 prisoners, with the camp itself holding 124 inmates.

There is also a state run prison there only a quarter mile away from the Federal prison call the Otisville Correctional Facility, and is also medium security as well.

This is all public information.

Albany, New York

The claim: FEMA detention facility.

What it really is: There's not much details about this claim, other then stating that there is an alleged FEMA detention facility.

The city does have a large river port with multiple warehouses, and also has a booming high-tech industry and health care industry, so it's that one of these places that house these industries could be mistaken by someone with an untrained eye (and paranoid mind) for some type of FEMA camp or detention center.

Ft. Drum, New York

The claim: two compounds: Rex 84 detention camp and FEMA detention facility.

What it really is: First let me ask this: why would there be two different detention camps run by two different groups, especially when they're doing the exact same thing? It makes far more sense to have one compound run by one group.

Anyways, the army base itself is huge, and contains nearly 13,000 people there at any given time, and is used to train up to 80,000 troops there annually.

The base also has a large amount of housing for military families, and employment opportunities for civilians as well.

The base borders several towns, and several other towns actually have parts of their townships within the base itself.

Considering all of this, it would be pretty hard to hide one prison camp there, much less two.
